HOUSTON, TX – According to TTN Houston, A heavy truck stall caused blockage to a right lane and right shoulder in the I-610 E Lp SB at The Port Of Houston at 8:15 P.M. on September 16.

One Killed in a Truck Crash At 1800 Blalock Road

Houston, Texas – According to Houston Police report, a yet-to-be-identified man was involved in a fatal traffic crash along Campbell Road, just before 1800 Blalock Road which occurred about 5:23 A.M on September 15, 2021

 

 

It was reported that a gray Chevrolet Silverado truck was headed north when it hit a Toyota Corolla going east. The passenger sitting on the front of the Toyota died instantly.

 

 

A nonfunctional traffic light coupled with bad weather conditions seem to be the cause of this crash, as no alcohol was detected.

NEWS: Hazmat spill reported on FM 1314 and Sorters Rd

PORTER, TX – An accident at FM 1314 and Sorters Rd caused a hazmat spill on Wednesday, according to Houston TranStar.

The traffic incident involved two vehicles, one of which was a semi-truck. It closed down the entire intersection.

Crews responded to the crash around 1 p.m.

Details are unclear concerning the cause of the crash and the condition of the people involved in it.

NEWS: Truck turnover causes a closure on the main lanes on a freeway

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston District of the Texas Department of Transportation strongly advised to take an alternate route to go around I-45 North Freeway northbound at Hogan due to a heavy truck turnover.

All main lanes were closed in the I-45 North Freeway northbound at Hogan near Downtown Houston because of an incident having a heavy truck turn over. In the meantime, all traffic was diverted to I-10. The closure of the main lanes took almost 20 hours to clear and no casualties has been reported.

News: Truck accident reported on NB I-45 past I-610

HOUSTON, TX – A truck accident has blocked the left lane of northbound I-45 just past the I-610 South Loop, according to Houston TranStar.

While the circumstances remain unclear at this time, we know that the incident happened shortly before 3:45 p.m. this afternoon, and is likely to affect rush hour traffic in the area. Commuters should expect delays, and seek alternate routes if possible.

The incident was verified at 3:58 p.m. today, and has closed the right and center lanes as well as the right shoulder.

News Update: Fatal crash on I-69 at Bellfort requires HAZMAT response

HOUSTON, TX – Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle crash at Southwest Fwy and W Bellfort Ave on Sunday morning, according to Click 2 Houston.

The collision occurred around 4:52 a.m. when the wrong-way driver collided with a semi-truck, causing the truck to ignite and become engulfed in flames.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.

News: Semi-truck driver fatally collides with train at FM 1960 and FM 2100

HUFFMAN, TX – The driver of a semi-truck died after crashing into a train at FM 1960 and FM 2100 Wednesday, according to KHOU.

Following the collision, the truck became engulfed in flames. Firefighters and emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site around 8 a.m. and extinguished the fire.

Investigators have not yet disclosed the cause of the crash or the name of the victim.

The wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. and involved a Cy-Fair ISD school bus, an SUV, and two other vehicles.

Details on what caused the accident, whether or not any students were aboard the bus at the time of the accident, or if anyone was hurt are not currently available.
