SPRING, TX – The Harris County Constable’s Office responded to a crash on Louetta Road this afternoon, according to the department’s Twitter feed.

The crash happened in the 1600 block of Louetta Rd, near Holzwarth Road at around 2:30 p.m., and was described as a minor collision.

It is unclear at this point what led to the collision or if anyone was injured as a result.

Drivers were told to expect delays in the area.

News: 2 dead after wrong-way crash involving ambulance on Westpark Tollway

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash involving an ambulance on the Westpark Tollway early this morning, according to information from KHOU.

The collision happened in the eastbound lanes of the Westpark Tollway near Fondren Road at around 5 a.m., as a driver was headed westbound, against the flow of traffic. The river then crashed into a private ambulance.

One person in the wrong-way vehicle was killed as a result of the crash.

Another victim in the ambulance was also pronounced dead.

At least one other person was hurt in the collision.

News: 11 people hospitalized after 6-vehicle crash on Katy Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A six-vehicle chain-reaction crash on the Katy Freeway caused 11 people to be sent to the hospital on Saturday morning, according to information from KTRK.

The collision happened at around 7 a.m. on the Katy Freeway (I-10) near Barker Cypress Road, when a grey Honda suffered a malfunction. The vehicle then stalled in the roadway, leading to a chain reaction crash with six vehicles.

A total of 11 people were sent to the hospital, with four of those victims being children. None of the victims’ injuries were considered to be life-threatening.

The accident continues to be investigated at this time.

JERSEY VILLAGE, TX (HARRIS COUNTY) – Authorities responded to a car crash on the Sam Houston Parkway yesterday afternoon causing traffic delays in the Jersey Village area, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The collision, which was described as a minor accident, occurred in the 8500 block of W Sam Houston Parkway near Gulf Bank Road at around 2:42 p.m.

It is unclear what caused the crash or if anyone was hurt as a result.

HOUSTON, TX – Five people, including two children, were hospitalized following a crash on the Hardy Toll Road early this morning, according to information from KHOU.

The crash happened on the Hardy Toll Road near Rankin Road at around 1:30 a.m., after a driver crashed into a concrete median. The vehicle was then struck by a second car.

At least one person had to be extricated from the wreckage of the crash.

Two adults and their two children, as well as a person in the second vehicle were taken to the hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.

News: 16-year-old girl killed in suspected DUI crash on Bellaire Blvd

HOUSTON, TX – A teenage girl was killed and a driver was injured during a crash on Bellaire Boulevard that may have been caused by intoxicated driving early this morning, according to information from the Harris County Sheriff.

The collision happened at 15770 Bellaire Boulevard east of Addicks Clodine Road at around 4 a.m.

19-year-old driver Eduardo Barrera was reportedly driving under the influence when he ran off the side of the road and collided with a tree.

His passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was taken to the hospital, and there she later died of her injuries.

Barrera was also hospitalized with a broken arm.

He is facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.

News: Woman dead, 2 injured after rear-end crash on S Main St

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed and two other people were hospitalized after a vehicle was rear-ended on South Main Street early this morning, according to information from KTRK.

The crash happened on S Main Street near the Beltway at around 2 a.m., as a Ford Explorer was either stopped or traveling at a slow speed on the roadway. The Explorer was then struck from behind by the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The 45-year-old woman driving the Explorer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 47-year-old man operating the F-150 and the passenger in the Explorer were both taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the pickup truck was not showing signs of being under the influence when the accident occurred.

News: Man dead after crashing pickup into tree following shooting, stabbing

HOUSTON, TX – A man died after his vehicle collided with a tree following a suspected shooting and stabbing in southeast Houston early Saturday morning, according to KTRK.

The crash happened at around 2:25 a.m. near Wimberly Canyon Court and Nellsfield Lane, after the driver of a white Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into a tree only moments after neighbors reportedly heard a gunshot.

The victim, who was identified only as a man who lived about half a block away from the crash scene, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are uncertain if he was killed by the gunshot wound or the multiple lacerations found on his body. Their investigation continues at this time.

News: At least 1 person dead after hit-and-run truck crash near Dobbin

DOBBIN, TX (MONTGOMERY COUNTY) – At least one fatality was reported following a hit-and-run accident involving an 18-wheeler truck driver in Montgomery County on Friday night.

According to information from the Montgomery County Police Reporter, the crash occurred near Dobbin on eastbound Texas Highway 105 near S Mt. Mariah Road at about 7:30 p.m. The driver of an 18-wheeler truck carrying a lowboy trailer was making a left turn onto TX-105 when it was struck by the driver of a pickup truck. The 18-wheeler then continued without stopping to render aid.

Authorities pronounced at least one victim deceased following the collision.

Police are searching for the lowboy trailer and the suspect as they investigate the accident. They are asking those with information about the suspect, vehicle, or the accident to contact the Montgomery County District’s Attorney’s Office – Vehicular Crimes Division or the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
