Ryan Robertson is a Houston-based plaintiff’s attorney representing clients in catastrophic personal injury and complex litigation matters, including workplace and industrial accidents, commercial trucking collisions, 18-wheeler crashes, and premises liability cases.
Ryan is licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA), the Houston Young Lawyers Association (HYLA), and the Jefferson County Bar Association.
A native of Orange, Texas, Ryan brings a unique combination of legal training and real-world industrial experience to his practice. Having worked in a plant environment, he developed a practical firsthand insight into workplace conditions, operational pressures, and the realities faced by injured workers and employees. That perspective informs his understanding of injury dynamics across different environments, his methods for evaluating cases, developing claims, and his communication with clients.
He began his legal career in personal injury law, where he gained experience in motor vehicle accident cases, case development, client communication, and litigation strategy. He has also worked on employment law matters, further broadening his exposure to workplace-related disputes.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas A&M University in College Station. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center after beginning his legal studies at Southern University Law Center and later transferring. During law school, he received CALI Awards for excellence in Legal Analysis and Writing I & II, Legal Research, and Federal Civil Procedure, and served on the University of Houston Moot Court team.
He further expanded his academic and professional training through a dual-degree program at Columbia University, earning both a Master’s in Sports Management and an LL.M. in International Sports Law.
During law school, Ryan clerked for United States Magistrate Judge Frances Stacy, gaining exposure to federal civil procedure and judicial decision-making in complex civil matters.
Ryan has also contributed to early-stage case development in matters that later resulted in significant jury verdicts, including a case that ultimately produced a $43.5 million verdict.
Clients value Ryan for his combination of industrial experience, procedural insight from federal court exposure, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to case preparation and client advocacy.
Outside of the office, Ryan is an Eagle Scout and enjoys running, weight training, writing, building computers, and reading fantasy and science fiction, as well as following sports.
