Nathan Lerma was born in Laredo, Texas, and raised in Corpus Christi, where he developed a strong sense of community and service through regular volunteer work with hospitals and local organizations. His early experiences shaped a lifelong commitment to advocacy, which deepened during his time working at the Texas State Capitol. There, he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by underrepresented communities and the impact of giving them a voice.

He served as an Editor for the St. Mary’s Law Journal on Race and Social Justice and earned a legal certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution – Mediation.

Nathan’s legal experience spans a range of fields, including international work in Intellectual Property Law at Xangxin Partners, P.C. in Beijing, China, a leading IP law firm accredited by China’s State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC). He has also worked extensively in Family Law, representing underserved clients through Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in the Rio Grande Valley.

As a first-generation attorney, Nathan is deeply committed to equity and justice. Since 2019, he has focused his practice on Personal Injury Law, where he advocates for injured clients to ensure they receive the care, support, and compensation they deserve.

Outside of work, Nathan is an avid traveler, curious hobbyist, and urban explorer who’s always on the hunt for new restaurants and experiences.
