Kherkher Garcia Law Firm is proud to announce that Aaron W. Perry has joined the firm as Of Counsel, bringing with him nearly two decades of courtroom experience spanning criminal prosecution, criminal defense, and complex litigation.
A native Houstonian and accomplished trial attorney, Perry is the founder and managing partner of the Perry Law Firm. He has built a distinguished career representing clients in high-stakes matters and brings a unique perspective developed from having tried cases on both sides of the courtroom.
Perry began his legal career as a prosecutor in Missouri before returning to Texas, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office. As a felony prosecutor, he handled some of the most serious cases in the criminal justice system, including murder, sexual assault, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, narcotics offenses, and fatal DWI cases. He tried numerous cases to verdict and maintained an undefeated record in jury trials as a felony prosecutor.
Throughout his career as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, Perry has tried numerous high-profile murder cases and other serious felony matters. His courtroom experience has resulted in not-guilty jury verdicts, dismissals, and cases in which grand juries returned no bills. Having stood before juries on both sides of a case, Perry understands how opposing counsel evaluates evidence, develops trial strategy, prepares witnesses, and presents a case to a jury.
That experience is particularly valuable in personal injury litigation, where Perry brings a trial lawyer’s mindset to cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, motor-vehicle and commercial-vehicle collisions, premises liability, industrial accidents, and other serious personal injury matters. He approaches every case with the understanding that preparation for trial is essential—even when a case ultimately resolves through negotiation or mediation.
Perry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2002 and his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2008. During law school, he distinguished himself as a courtroom advocate, receiving a Best Speaker award in a mock trial competition and serving in leadership roles within the law school community. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Missouri, and Maine.
Beyond his legal career, Perry has developed deep roots in the Houston community. He has been particularly dedicated to Bellaire Little League and youth baseball, devoting significant time to coaching, mentoring young athletes, and supporting the families and community surrounding the program. His commitment to youth baseball has become an important part of his identity and his service to the community.
Perry also has a strong record of civic involvement. In 2023, he ran for Mayor of Bellaire, advancing to the mayoral runoff. His campaign reflected his longstanding commitment to the community and his desire to serve the city he and his family call home.
For Perry, joining Kherkher Garcia represents an opportunity to combine his extensive trial experience with a firm committed to aggressively advocating for individuals and families who have been seriously injured or suffered devastating losses.

Perry and his wife, Tracy, are raising their two sons in the Houston area. Despite his professional accomplishments, he considers his family, his clients, and his service to his community among his greatest sources of pride.
