Woman injured by fireworks still in hospital

SUGAR LAND, TX –The 29-year-old woman who was injured by fireworks on the Fourth of July remains in the hospital, according to KTRK.
The accident happened in the parking lot of the Kroger located at 11565 S Texas 6. One of the fireworks blew up in the woman’s face.
Since the accident, she has had multiple surgeries on both her upper and lower jaw. Her right arm was also burned in the accident. She now has over 150 stitches on her cheek.
Her identity has not been released.
