Update: Name of man killed in Sugar Land crash released

HOUSTON, TX – Officials have identified the man killed in the Sugar Land crash on Saturday, reports Click 2 Houston.

The 18-wheeler was hauling produce and driving north on U.S. 59 Frontage Rd.

At around 7 a.m., the 18-wheeler collided with a pickup truck as it approached the intersection with Crab River Rd.

Edwin Bath was the driver of the pickup truck and he died at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.

No details are available on what caused the crash.
