HOUSTON, TX – Traffic was stalled due to an accident that occurred in Willowbrook on Highway 249/Tomball Parkway Inbound at 8:00 A.M. on September 22, according to TTN Houston.

Its cause and any inflicted injuries were not reported.

NEWS: Police respond to major accident near Westchase

HOUSTON, TX – A major, non-fatal accident was reported at Westheimer Rd and Woodland Park Dr on Wednesday, according to City of Houston.

The traffic accident happened at 1:42 p.m. No information has been released concerning the cause of the incident or the condition of those involved.

Woman dies in car fire on Westheimer Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A 2-car collision on Thursday killed a woman on the 13000 block of Westheimer Rd, according to the Houston Chronicle.

First responders arrived at the area around 5:45 p.m. and found that the woman’s car caught on fire following the crash, killing the woman in the process.

The woman’s name has not been released at this time.

Pedestrian on Westheimer Rd struck, killed by hit and run driver

HOUSTON, TX – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a pedestrian Thursday, according to KTRK.

A person driving a green Honda struck the unidentified male pedestrian on the 8000 block of Westheimer Rd. The driver then parked the Honda and fled the area on foot.

Information on the name of the victim or the description of the suspect is not available.

Driver on Westheimer Rd hits, kills bicyclist

HOUSTON, TX –A bicyclist was struck and killed by a Nissan on Westheimer Rd Wednesday, reports KTRK.

The accident occurred on the 6200 block of Westheimer Rd. At around 12:45 a.m., the victim was attempting to cross the street on his bicycle when he was struck by a Nissan Maxima heading east.

After the collision, the driver stopped and tried to help the bicyclist, but they were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Police have not filed charges and do not believe impairment played a role in the accident. They have not yet released the name of the victim.

Driver on Westheimer Rd collides with another car, kills 2

HOUSTON, TX – Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle collision on Westheimer Rd Monday morning, reports ABC 13.

A white car was driving very fast on westbound Westheimer Rd. As they approached the area between Yorktown St and Chimney Rock Rd, they struck a median and lost control.

The force of the collision sent the white car into the eastbound lanes of Westheimer Rd and it then slammed into a black car.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the black vehicle flipped upside down. Its driver was pronounced dead. The driver of the white car was hospitalized and died shortly afterward from injuries sustained in the crash.

No information has been released at this time concerning what time the collision took place. The names of those involved are also unknown.

The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
