CYPRESS, TX – Authorities responded to a major vehicle accident on Spring Cypress Road on Friday afternoon, according to information from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The collision happened in the 14500 block of Spring Cypress Rd, near Louetta Road at around 4:50 p.m.

Drivers were told to expect traffic delays near the scene.

CYPRESS, TX – Authorities responded to a major traffic collision on Fairfield Meadows Drive in Cypress yesterday afternoon, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

The crash happened in the 15100 block of Fairfield Meadows Dr, near the Northwest Freeway (Highway 290) at around 1:18 p.m.

News: Police investigating possible hit-and-run on Mt. Houston Rd

HOUSTON, TX – Police are investigating a woman’s death as a possible hit-and-run after finding her in a ditch near Mt. Houston Road this morning, according to KHOU.

The accident happened in the 300 block of W Mt. Houston Road, east of Highway 249 and the North Freeway at around 5:30 a.m.

According to video footage obtained of the scene, a woman walking near the roadway may have been struck by a passing vehicle.

She was later discovered lying in the ditch and was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.

SPRING, TX – At least one person was injured when a driver crashed into a building on Cypresswood Drive in Spring last night, according to the Harris County Constable’s Office.

The crash happened in the 22700 block of Cypresswood Drive near Treaschwig Road at around 8 p.m., when a driver lost control of their vehicle, a gray SUV. The SUV then crashed through the window near a Metro PCS store.

At least one person suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Drivers were told to avoid the area near the crash scene.

News: 3 HPD officers, 2 others injured after possible carjacking in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Three police officers and two other people were hospitalized following a pursuit of suspects of an alleged carjacking in the north Houston area early this morning.

According to KHOU, the collision happened near the intersection of Irvington Boulevard and E Crosstimbers Street at around 1 a.m., after Houston Police officers spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen about fifteen minutes before. Suspects reportedly failed to pull over after the officers signaled for a traffic stop.

After a few seconds, the suspects are said to have crashed into an unrelated driver and then into the three patrol vehicles.

Three HPD officers and two suspects were hospitalized with non-critical injuries.

The innocent driver was not hurt in the collision.

Three people were taken into police custody and authorities are searching for a fourth person in connection with the possible carjacking.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.

News: Driver dead, 4 people injured after multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 6

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed and multiple people were injured as a result of a wrong-way crash involving multiple vehicles on Highway 6 late Saturday night, according to KHOU.

The accident occurred at around 10:50 p.m. in the 13300 block of Highway 6 N, near Hempstead Road and Copper Grove Boulevard.

The driver of a Toyota Sienna minivan crossed over the concrete and into the lanes of oncoming northbound traffic. The southbound Sienna then crashed into the side of a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The driver of the F-150 attempted to avoid the crash and made an evasive maneuver into the lanes of oncoming southbound traffic, where he almost crashed into the driver of a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck. The driver of the Colorado then swerved into the northbound lanes to try to avoid the F-150, where the Colorado crashed into the Sienna.

The driver of the Sienna died at the scene.

The driver’s daughter was taken to the hospital with severe injuries that she is expected to survive.

The drivers of the two pickup trucks suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. A passenger in the Colorado also suffered minor wounds in the crash.

The drivers of the Ford and the Colorado were not intoxicated when the accident happened. At this time, authorities have not yet determined if the deceased driver was under the influence.

Their investigation continues.

At least one person was killed in the accident.

HOUSTON, TX – A man stepping out of a stalled vehicle was fatally struck by another driver on the North Freeway early this morning, according to KHOU.

The crash happened on the inbound North Fwy near Crosstimbers Road just after 12 a.m., when a pickup truck traveling in one of the middle lanes stalled. The driver of a second pickup truck crashed into the first driver after he had gotten out of his vehicle to inspect it.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female passenger in the first pickup and the second driver were not reported as injured.

The second driver remained at the scene following the crash. Authorities have not yet determined if intoxication played a role in the accident.

CROSBY, TX – Two women were killed in a late-night crash on FM 1942 Road in Crosby on Saturday that may have involved an intoxicated driver, according to information from KHOU.

The collision happened in the 3300 block of FM 1942 at 11:15 p.m., as the driver of a white pickup truck collided with another vehicle as it was backing out of a private driveway. The impact then sent the car into a ditch.

The passenger of the struck vehicle was ejected during the crash. She and the driver were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital and is currently being investigated for possibly driving while intoxicated.

No charges have yet been filed and the investigation continues at this time.

News: Pedestrian killed by hit-and-run driver in crash on Bellfort Ave

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Bellfort Avenue in southeast Houston on Friday night, according to KHOU.

The crash happened in the 6900 block of Bellfort Ave at 8:30 p.m., when a male pedestrian was reportedly running across the street. He was then struck by the driver of a Nissan Sentra, who drove about a block away before stopping. The driver allegedly then fled the scene on foot.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

According to witness testimony, another occupant of the vehicle then drove the Sentra away. It was later discovered abandoned in a residential area.

Authorities are hoping to use forensic evidence and camera footage as they search for the suspect and the second driver. The accident remains under investigation.
