ALDINE, TX – A woman was fatally struck by a car involved in a street race Wednesday at Selinksky Road and Martin Luther King Blvd, according to News 4 San Antonio.
At around midnight, a woman in her 50’s was using a walker to cross the street as the two street racers approached the intersection at high speeds. One of the vehicles, a Lincoln MKZ, collided with the woman.
Neither of the two alleged street racers stopped to check on the woman following the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are going through surveillance footage from convenience stores in the area in the hope of finding leads in the case. If they find the suspect, they will most likely be charged with failure to render aid.
