News: Woman killed after rear-ending semi on I-10

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed when her vehicle slammed into the rear of a parked semi-truck on I-10 on Saturday morning.
According to a report by HPD, the crash took place just before 3 a.m. along the freeway service road near Terry Hershey Park.
Investigators say the 26-year-old woman behind the wheel of a Honda CRV was traveling at a high rate of speed when her vehicle crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer that was parked in the right lane.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured.
