News: Vehicle fire delays traffic in Houston’s North Side

HOUSTON, TX – Commuters in north Houston faced major delays following a vehicle fire on Tuesday morning.
According to Total Traffic Houston, the fire was reported shortly before noon in the eastbound lanes of the Sam Houston Parkway, near the exit to Ella Boulevard.

Little information is known about the crash at this time.
Significant traffic delays were reported on the highway for about an hour while crews worked to extinguish the blaze. All lanes were reopened by 12:30 p.m.
