HOUSTON, TX – A woman who was killed early Saturday morning when a wrong-way driver slammed into a private ambulance on the Westpark Tollway has been identified.

According to ABC13, 31-year-old Sarah Kaderli was a paramedic in the ambulance, which was hit by a driver who was attempting to speed past a bus near Fondren Road.

The vehicle hit the ambulance with such force that investigators were still unable to determine its driver as of late this morning.

At least five people have been killed in wrong-way crashes on the Westpark Tollway since the beginning of July.
