HOUSTON, TX – A major crash in South Side, Houston that involved two vehicles and one pedestrian closed down three lanes on Friday afternoon, reports Click2Houston.

The accident happened at roughly 2 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the 610 South Loop near where it crosses over Cullen Boulevard. Authorities say a red pickup truck crashed into the back of a construction truck and then a pedestrian. The truck then came to a stop after it struck the center divider.

Responding officers believe the pedestrian involved in the incident was stuck underneath the red pickup. Police are uncertain if the pedestrian was a driver of one of the involved vehicles.

The condition of the pedestrian has not been verified by authorities.

All lanes have since been cleared and traffic may resume normally.
