News: Train kills pedestrian on Cavalcade St and Schalker Dr

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian is dead following an accident with a train at Cavalcade St and Schalker Dr early Tuesday morning, KHOU reports.
Officers and Union Pacific officials were called to the scene after a body was found on the train tracks around 4 a.m. Officers closed down down the intersection until the Medical Examiner could arrive and remove the body.
No details have been given at this time concerning the identity of the victim or the cause of the accident.
