WALLER, TX – A teen driver ran over six bicyclists on U.S. 290 Business two miles west of downtown Waller on Saturday morning, the Houston Chronicle reports.

The victims were on a training ride with dozens of other cyclists when a 16-year-old boy driving a pickup truck attempted to threaten them with his vehicle by “rolling coal” and emitting exhaust on them. He subsequently lost control of the vehicle and struck them, sending four of the cyclists to the hospital.

Following the incident, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The teen has not been charged with a crime at this time, though Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis has promised a full review of the case.
