News: Single-vehicle crash in NE Houston leaves 1 dead

HOUSTON, TX – Officers were called to the scene of a fatal single-vehicle collision in northeast Houston on Wednesday night.

According to a report by Fox 26 Houston, the crash took place at about 6:30 p.m. within the 4700 block of Kelley Street, near Kashmere Street.

Police say the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when their vehicle skidded off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other victims were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
