News: Police pull victims from burning wreckage at I-610 and Eastex Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A fiery crash was reported at I-610 and Eastex Freeway Tuesday night, according to NTV Houston.

The vehicle, which two men occupied, fell of the transition road from eastbound I-610 to northbound Eastex Fwy. It then ignited.

Officers with the Metro Police Department heard the traffic accident from their office. They rushed to the wreckage and pulled the two occupants from it.

First responders hospitalized both men with significant injuries. One man is currently in critical condition and the other is in stable condition.

The cause of the incident and the time it happened is unclear at this time.
