HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed after colliding with a parked vehicle in north Houston early Saturday morning, according to KTRK.

The crash happened on East Witcher Lane at about 2:30 a.m., as the driver of a black Honda Civic traveled outside of their lane. There, they collided with a parked car, sending the unoccupied vehicle into a ditch.

The driver, who authorities believe wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead after the crash.

Speeding may have been a factor in the collision.
