News: Man killed in single-vehicle crash on Barker Cypress Rd.

HOUSTON, TX – A man suffered fatal injuries when his pickup truck slammed into a roadside tree in northwest Phoenix early Sunday morning.

According to a report by NTV Houston, the driver lost control of his Dodge pickup truck for unknown reasons at about 12:42 a.m. within the 4200 block of Barker Cypress Road. The vehicle skidded off the roadway and slammed into a tree.

The cab became detached from the bed of the truck in the crash, causing parts to be thrown across the roadway.

The driver, an unidentified man in his 30s or 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
