News: Man killed in single-vehicle crash in NW Harris County

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed on Monday when his pickup truck slammed into a tree in northwest Harris County.
According to KHOU, the incident occurred at about 12:42 a.m. in the 4300 block of Barker Cypress Road, near Spellbrook Drive.
Police say a man in his 30s or 40s lost control of his pickup while traveling at a high rate of speed and slammed into a tree. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to be split in half.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is unclear at this time.
