News: Hit-and-run kills elderly man on Ley Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A hit-and-run collision at 7500 Ley Rd killed a 73-year-old man on Monday evening, according to Houston Police.

A person driving a Blue Mazda was heading south on Homestead Rd. They were in the process of turning onto Ley Rd when a Chrysler collided with their vehicle.

The driver of the Mazda was hospitalized. A passenger in the backseat was launched from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Authorities will release the name of the deceased once their next of kin have been notified.

Houston Police Department’s Hit and Run Unit is investigating the case and urges anyone with any information concerning the incident contact them.
