HOUSTON, TX – A hit-and-run driver struck a pair of sisters Saturday morning, KHOU reports.
The sisters, De’Nesha Bell and O’Shanae Bell, were leaving a club near Old Spanish Trail and Holcombe Blvd at around 2:45 a.m. when they were struck from behind by a vehicle. The driver then fled the scene.
De’Nesha Bell was knocked unconscious. She would later wake up during eye surgery. O’Shanae Bell also suffered serious injuries. The two were taken to the hospital after a witness called 911.
Prior to the collision, a man approached the sisters and asked if they needed a ride. He angrily sped off when they turned him down. They believe he may be connected to the incident.
