News: Heavy truck fire blocks multiple lanes on I-10 in West Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Firefighters responded to the scene of a major truck fire on the Katy Freeway this afternoon.
According to Total Traffic Houston, the crash took place at about 1:55 p.m. within the westbound lanes of I-10 near the exit to Mason Road.

It is unclear what may have sparked the blaze at this time. However, this situation is still developing.
Drivers have been advised to proceed with caution as delays are likely while crews work to put out the fire.
