News: Hazmat spill blocks several lanes on Katy Fwy.

HOUSTON, TX – Commuters in Houston’s west side faced major delays following a truck accident and hazmat spill on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report by Total Traffic Houston, the crash took place at about 12:25 p.m. on the inbound lanes of I-10, near the exit to Park Ten Place.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, at least three lanes were shut down while crews worked to clear the spill.

Motorists have been advised to proceed with caution in the area as delays are likely throughout Wednesday afternoon.
