News: Female pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on Shreveport Blvd.

HOUSTON, TX – A 58-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck after two vehicles collision in Houston early this morning.
According to KHOU, the crash occurred at about 7:15 a.m. within the 9000 block of Shreveport Boulevard, near Glen Manor Drive.
Investigators say a Kia Forte and a Nissan Altima were both eastbound on the roadway when they collided. The Nissan then veered to the side of the roadway and hit the pedestrian.
The driver of the Nissan immediately fled the scene of the crash. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
It is unclear if anyone in the Kia suffered injuries in the crash.
