News: Driver on FM 1485 flips car, hospitalizes 2

CONROE, TX – Two people were hospitalized at HCA Conroe Hospital following a crash on FM 148 Monday morning, according to the Montgomery Police Reporter.
At around 10:30 a.m. a driver of a Chevrolet car was traveling at a high rate of speed on the part of southbound FM 1485 near the Caney Creek Cowboy church he began to stray into oncoming traffic. The driver then overcorrected the vehicle which caused it to flip.
The two occupants of the car, the male driver and his female passenger, were both injured.
Police discovered a knife stuck between the tire and rim as the vehicle was loaded onto a wrecker. Officers also found the driver’s cell phone in a ditch near the crash site.
