News: Driver killed when vehicle slams into tree in Cullen Park

HARRIS CO., TX – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County on Sunday evening.

According to NTV Houston, the crash took place at about 6:17 p.m. within the 200 block of Clay Road, near the intersection with Fry Road.

Sheriff’s deputies believe the unidentified driver failed to maintain a single lane and veered off the roadway before crashing in the tree.

It is unclear if the driver was impaired when the incident occurred.
