News: Driver killed in single-vehicle crash on North Loop East

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed when his vehicle ran off I-610 in northeast Houston early Sunday morning.

According to HPD, the man lost control of his gray Chevrolet Silverado along the freeway service road near North McCarty Street at about 4:45 a.m.

The vehicle then struck a tree on the side of the road and caught fire.

The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
