News: Driver charged in fatal DWI crash on FM-529

CYPRESS, TX – A man was taken into custody following a deadly DWI crash in west Harris county on Sunday morning.
According to a report by KPRC, the crash occurred when 28-year-old Pedro Martinez ran the red light at the intersection of Settlers Village Drive and Freeman Road and collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 43-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.
Martinez was arrested after showing signs of impairment at the scene. He is currently facing intoxication manslaughter charges.
