News: Driver backs into, kills pedestrian on Telephone Rd

HOUSTON, TX – According to the police, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver as they were pulling out of a driveway at 4300 Telephone Rd Monday.

The 47-year-old driver was backing out of a private parking lot in a Ford F-150 when he collided with the 62-year-old pedestrian around 3:15 p.m.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where they later driver.

Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the collision.
