News: Crash near Edgebrook kills motorcyclist

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving an alleged impaired driver on Saturday afternoon, reports Click 2 Houston.
Christopher Lawrence Baulch, 35, was driving a Kia Soul. He was at the intersection of South Shaver St and Wald St and turned left onto westbound Shaver St.
The victim was operating a motorcycle on eastbound Shaver. The rider approached the intersection with Wald St and slammed into Baulch’s vehicle as it was turning onto Shaver St. The collision launched the victim from the motorcycle.
Crews were dispatched to the area after receiving calls concerning the collision around 3:55 p.m. They took the victim to an area hospital where they died from their injuries.
Police believe impairment was a factor in the collision and charged Baulch with DWI.
