News: Crash at 8700 Martin Luther King Blvd injures man

HOUSTON, TX – A man was found dead four days after being struck by a vehicle on July 26, according to Houston Police.
The victim, a 65-year-old man, was initially struck and injured at 8700 Martin Luther King Blvd by a Nissan Maxima. The man was attempting to cross the street when he was hit.
Following the crash, the driver remained at the scene and was questioned by the police. He was then released. The victim was hospitalized and was then released after receiving treatment.
The victim did not arrive home that day and his caretaker filed a missing person’s report. The man was then found dead on July 30th somewhere on the 200 block of Jackson St.
Police may further investigate the case once the victim’s cause of death is determined.
