News: Adult dead, 3 students and driver injured in Waller Co. bus crash

MONAVILLE, TX (WALLER COUNTY) – A school bus aide was killed and multiple students were injured during a school bus crash in rural Waller County yesterday, according to KHOU.

The crash happened on FM 1887 road near Holik Road at around 12 p.m., when the driver of a Hempstead ISD school bus lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.

An adult school bus aide was pronounced dead after the collision.

A high school student was airlifted to the hospital in Houston with undisclosed injuries.

Another two students, ages 6 and 9, were taken to the hospital via ground ambulance.

The bus driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

A fourth student on the bus was unharmed.
