HOUSTON, TX – A 68-year-old man was killed when his vehicle rear-ended another on I-610 last Friday evening.

According to a report by HPD, the crash took place at about 5:24 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near Cullen Boulevard.

Investigators believe the man behind the wheel of a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer failed to maintain a single lane and crashed into the rear of a Honda Pilot.

When the woman in the Honda exited her vehicle, she noticed the Chevrolet’s driver unconscious behind the wheel. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
