News: 55-year-old pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Langwood

HOUSTON, TX – A man was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking in Houston’s Langwood area last Friday.

According to a report by the Leader, the man was struck at about 7:10 p.m. in the 6500 block of West 43rd Street just west of the US-290 overpass.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved was questioned and released after police determined he was not intoxicated.
