News: 43-year-old Henderson man fatally struck by pickup on US-259

HANDERSON, TX – A man from Henderson was fatally struck while standing outside of his disabled vehicle on US-259 on Saturday night.

According to a report by East Texas Radio, 43-year-old Edmon Lynard Howard was standing next to his broken down pickup truck when he was struck by another oncoming pickup.

Howard suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. The driver of the second pickup remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
