HOUSTON, TX – Three people suffered injuries resulting from a collision involving a METRO bus in Houston yesterday, Fox 26 reports.

The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. when a passenger van ran the red light at 20th Street and Durham Drive and collided with the bus.

The force of the impact sent the bus into a vending machine on the sidewalk.

The bus driver and two occupants were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if any occupants of the van were hurt.
