HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Houston’s Westchase neighborhood on Saturday evening, HPD reports.

Investigators say the crash occurred at about 6 p.m. when the man lost control of his eastbound BMW SUV in the 7800 block of Richmond Avenue and slid off the road. The vehicle then crashed into a tree in the median. Police believe that wet road conditions contributed to the accident.

The unidentified 29-year-old driver was taken to Memorial Herman – Texas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
