News: 24-year-old motorcyclist killed in west Houston crash

HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near George Bush Park on Tuesday night.

According to a report by HPD, the crash took place at about 9:45 a.m. as the rider of a black BMW motorcycle was heading south on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed. Police say a silver Kia Rio collided with the motorcyclist as it made the left turn onto Barker Oaks Drive.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman in the Kia remained at the crash site. No charges are pending at this time.
