HOUSTON, TX – A man and a woman were killed in a four-vehicle crash yesterday evening in north Houston, reports Click2Houston.

The collision occurred at 7:11 p.m. on Little York Road a few blocks west of where it passes over the Hardy Toll Road. A Dodge pickup truck was speeding westbound on Little York Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center median. The truck then crashed head-on into a Kia in the eastbound lanes with enough force to cause it to strike a tow truck. The tow truck was towing another vehicle at the time of the incident.

A woman and a man were killed in the collision, while the driver of the truck was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

Police are still investigating who is at fault for the collision, but speed is suspected to have been a major contributor to the incident.
