News: 11 people hospitalized after 6-vehicle crash on Katy Fwy

HOUSTON, TX – A six-vehicle chain-reaction crash on the Katy Freeway caused 11 people to be sent to the hospital on Saturday morning, according to information from KTRK.
The collision happened at around 7 a.m. on the Katy Freeway (I-10) near Barker Cypress Road, when a grey Honda suffered a malfunction. The vehicle then stalled in the roadway, leading to a chain reaction crash with six vehicles.
A total of 11 people were sent to the hospital, with four of those victims being children. None of the victims’ injuries were considered to be life-threatening.
The accident continues to be investigated at this time.
