News: 1 dead, 2 injured after car and METRO bus collide in N Houston

HOUSTON, TX – One person was killed and two other people were injured in a collision involving a METRO bus and another vehicle in north Houston last night, according to KHOU.
The crash occurred at the intersection of the Eastex Freeway and Bennington Street at about 7:20 p.m. when a car and a METRO bus collided.
A passenger in the car was pronounced dead after the crash.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital in undisclosed condition.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
