Driver on Westheimer Rd collides with another car, kills 2

HOUSTON, TX – Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle collision on Westheimer Rd Monday morning, reports ABC 13.

A white car was driving very fast on westbound Westheimer Rd. As they approached the area between Yorktown St and Chimney Rock Rd, they struck a median and lost control.

The force of the collision sent the white car into the eastbound lanes of Westheimer Rd and it then slammed into a black car.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the black vehicle flipped upside down. Its driver was pronounced dead. The driver of the white car was hospitalized and died shortly afterward from injuries sustained in the crash.

No information has been released at this time concerning what time the collision took place. The names of those involved are also unknown.

The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
