Driver on Roberts St dies after slamming into a tree

HOUSTON, TX – A driver is dead after they collided with a tree on Roberts St Sunday, reports HCSO.
An unidentified male was driving north on Roberts St in a Chevrolet HHR. As they approached the 19100 block of Roberts St, they strayed from their lane and into a tree. The force of impact launched the driver from his vehicle.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The Vehicular Crimes Division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the case.
