Driver on Grant Rd loses control, crashes into tree, dies

HOUSTON, TX – A crash on Grant Rd took the life of a driver on Tuesday morning, reports a press release by the HCSO.

The crash occurred on the 1200 block of Grant Rd at around 2:30 a.m. The unidentified driver was driving west on Grant Drive.

As they approached the 1200 block of Grant Rd, they lost control while taking a turn and drove into a median before crashing into a tree.

The force of the impact rotated the car counterclockwise. The victim died at the scene of the accident. The incident is currently under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
