Driver killed in single-vehicle crash on Barker Cypress

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed in a crash on Barker Cypress Rd on Saturday, reports the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Kylah Cherry was driving north in the 6100 block of Barker Cypress Rd at 12:20 a.m. when she lost control of her Hyundai Sontata and struck a crosswalk.

Cherry was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
