Driver in Pasadena rear-ends car, kills 1

PASADENA, TX – A person driving a Jeep rear-ended a car on Hwy 225 on Thursday morning, killing a person in the process, reports Click 2 Houston.
The Jeep is believed to have struck the other car in the rear on the section of Hwy 225 near Texas Beltway 8. Police believe the vehicle that was struck may have stalled since it was in the center lane and had it’s emergency lights on.
Police were dispatched to the crash after receiving reports of the collision around 5:20 a.m. Both vehicles were on fire by the time the authorities arrived. One person was in the burning car. They may have been the person that died at the scene.
Medical personnel treated the driver of the Jeep at the scene of the wreck and released him.
Officials have not yet released the name of the deceased.
