Crash kills street racer near Katy

KATY, NV – A driver of a Camaro died Wednesday in a fatal street racing crash, reports Click 2 Houston.

At around 5:30 p.m. Oluwatise Gbadebo, 20, was racing a Ford Mustang against a Chevy Camaro driven by an unidentified 20-year-old male east on the 22300 block of Clay Road.

The Camaro crashed into and went under a tanker truck as it was pulling into a gas station. The driver of the Camaro died at the scene.

Gbadebo missed the tanker truck and swerved into the median. He then performed a U-turn and came back to the scene of the crime.

He was arrested and charged with racing involving death after he confessed to officers that he had been racing the victim.
